The Xavier Songwriters' Guild is a newly organized club which aims to develop in students the art of songwriting.

     In the beginning of the school year, one of the concerns of some members was that although they could write beautiful lyrics and melodies, they were not exceptional performers. To assuage the members' fears, it was emphasized that songwriting is an art form in itself and that it was perfectly acceptable for them to call on others to interpret their composition.

     Thus, the song In the Light Once More . (click to hear the song and view the lyrics) was written by three Xavier Songwriters' Guild members but was executed by their band-member friends, La3D .

     Fittingly, the song, which has exceptionally powerful lyrics, is about overcoming hardships though others' help.
