XAVERIAN'S
CORNER
Avilon Zoo
Sophomores took hours of adventure and
learning in an appropriately landscaped nature
Hindu Temple
The talk in the commanding Hindu Temple had “dharma” written all over it. Students and teachers heard a one-hour lecture about Hinduism. Certain concepts about life and how to squeeze more out of life were discussed. The gentlemen discovered similarities and differences of Hinduism to and from Christianity. As the speaker said, our decisions will always lie in our hands.
Spelling Bee Élan filled the MPC as H2 classes cheered for their representatives in the Spelling Contest last November 29, 2006. There were two batches for the said contest – the morning saw classes of H2A, B, C and D while the afternoon welcomed H2E, F, G and H. The given spelling words came from their spelling lists coming from all quarters, lest a tiebreaker was needed. In the first block, H2C emerged as winner, acing the word “resuscitate.” Meanwhile, H2F had outdone its contenders in garnering the first place as well. Just as every letter counts to spell something correctly, every ounce of effort counts to win fair and square.
