Helping Hands
Ms. Aimee Apolinario, HS Web Editor

Posted Friday, 21-Jul-2006 1:05 PM

Sr. Lourdina Lanying Liu, the new HS Chinese librarian went back to the convent last July 5, 2006 after a long tiring day of transferring books to the new Information and Technology Center (ITC). The other sisters learned about the task of setting up the new library and they offered to come and help.

The following day, July 6, 2006, Mrs. Ruth de Luna, ITC coordinator, was pleasantly surprised when ten sisters from the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of the Mother of God came to Xavier to offer a lending hand in the High School library. That morning, being a community service day for the sisters, the good sisters spent the day classifying and putting books on shelves.

Mrs. De Luna, along with her staff and the Xavier community, wishes to thank the following religious sisters, who generously helped in putting order to the newly opened HS-ITC:

Sr. Benedicta Kuo           Sr. Martina Fan

Sr. Leticia Li                   Sr. Clementia Wang

Sr. Alice Wang                Sr. Jane Frances Li

Sr. Dilecta Yang              Sr. Maria Goretti Want

Sr. Emiliana Xiao             Sr. Beatrix Hao
