Summer Math Olympiad winners. Fryer Contest Category: Gold for Evan Lao , now H1-A, Marquis Alexandre’ Tan, H1-B & Arnold Lau , H2-C. In the Hypatia Contest Category: Gold for Mark Benedict Tan H3-C and Silver for Andrew Vincent Yap, H3-C.
Adrian Raphael Tan Co, 6H, now 7C, garnered Merit Award (Individual Competition), 3rd Place (Team Competition), & 2nd Place (Puzzle Competition) in the Indonesia Elementary Mathematics International Contest (INAEMIC) 2006, Bali, Indonesia, May, 2006.

IT Quiz Bee Champs Wilhensen Li & Rodrick Tan of H4A with Levi Tan Ong H4B. Top prize winner Lorenzo Mangubat of H3C in a Photo Essay Contest sponsored by the Children’s Museum & Library, Inc (CMLI).
Gabriel Ruaro, H3A, Theodore Effan, H3C, and Thompson Tang, H3D are the winners of Cerebrawl: The Inter Secondary School Academic Challenge.
Marquis Alexandre’ Tan of 7F, Top Scorer & Gold medalist with Kenneth Tan Co of 4A (Certificate of High Distinction) in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) for the Westpac Awards held last October.
Jesi Ling, placed 3rd in the Sunday “Masters of the Word” First Scrabble Tourney, while Julian Sese made it to 2nd place in the Saturday leg. Both winners were awarded with gift certificates and Scrabble boards.
Alister Lusuan , H1C ran away with 2nd honors in the Open-ended Problem Solving Math contest & 3rd honors in the Short Answer Problem Solving contest competed in the 2005 China Junior High School Mathematical Olympiad 2005.
Mark Benedict Tan, H2B, won the bronze medal in the 2005 6th Invitational World Youth Inter-Cities Math Competition held in Taiwan. Marquis Alexandre’ Tan of 7F won a trophy & Bronze Medal in the 2005 9th Po Leung Kuk Primary World Contest held in Hong Kong, China. Marquis is wearing the Math wizard's hat for the past two school years now according to Ms. Gagatiga’s article in our school website. Kenneth Co of Grade 4A & Brendon Matthew Go of Grade 4 – St. Paul are bronze medalists in the International Mathematics and Science Olympiad 2005 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Tuason Racing School AMP Interschool Kartfest champions Justin Uy, H4A, Adrian Santos, H4B, Raffy Go, H4D, & Mikael Coyiuto, H4D, bagged the grand prize of PhP30,000 & a trophy in this newly-introduced karting tournament. Dance X bagged the Interschool Dancing Competition in the Skechers Streetdance Final Battle, with Mel Andrew Chua as their moderator. Xavier Debate Team A Jonathan Loh, Peterson Poon & Nathan Santos were awarded 1st runners-up in the High School Debate organized by the CMLI and the De La Salle Debate Society.
Stanley Sy won the public speaking championship for the Idea Lite sponsored by the Interscholastic Debaters Association (IDeA) – July 16-17, 2005 held in UST.
23rd SEA games winners in their respective events. Miguel Mendoza (XS 2000) swam to a 2nd successive gold medal finish in the 1500 meter freestyle while Marcus Valda (XS '99) won gold in the 96kg class.
Marquis Alexandre’ Tan (7F), stunned the audience with his perfect score & won the gold medal in the individual competition of the 2005 Philippine Elementary Math Int’l Competition (PEMIC) in Bohol Tropics Resort, Tagbilaran City. Marc Terence Co and Evan Niccolo Lao were awarded silver medals each for the individual competition, and Adrian Raphael Co,6H & Kenneth Co secured the bronze. Brendon Matthew Go was granted the Merit award.
Adrian Co of 6H, 3rd Placer in the Calculation Skill Contest & 2nd Place in the Problem Solving Skill Contest of the China Primary School Math Olympiad 2005 held in Tian-an, Shandong , China also got Bronze Medal, Junior Math Encounter 2006, Quezon City Science High School. In the 2nd Nicanor Reyes Mind Challenge in Math, Science and English which was held in the Far Eastern University last September, Timothy Jason Simeon, H4B, and Casey Wilson Lim, H4C, placed 2nd.
