2 Xaverians win 2006 Australian Mathematics Competition Awards
2006 Australian Mathematics Competition and the Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) honored on October 20, 2006 the awardees of the prestigious international competition that was participated in by almost half a million students from 40 countries. AMC awarded the Prize Certificate to Kenneth Tan Co (Gr. 5E) who took the Upper Primary Division test given to Grade 5 and 6 students. The Prize Award is given to the top .3% of the participants. AMC awarded the High Distinction Certificate to Marquis Alexandre Tan (H1) who took the Junior Division test. High Distinction is given to the top 2% of the participants.
