Heavenly Father, what a privilege to be called Your children, to belong to Your family, and to be part of the Xavier family. We thank You for the HK gathering last weekend, an opportunity to meet fellow Xaverians, to re-ignite the Xavier spirit in us, and to reflect on what it means to be a Xaverian.

     We especially thank You for our dear Fr Zuloaga, who has such a heart for You and for all of us, that inspite of his medical condition, he flew to HK to be with us. From his life example, we are learning what love and service are about. And we see what it means to be selfless - a man for others, as You would want us all to be. We plead Your strength and wisdom be with him always, that he in turn can continue to serve You and to guide us.

     You have spoken to each of us, in our hearts, through Fr Zuloaga's reflections, and through our sharing with one another. You have reminded us once again that this gift of a Xavier education which we have received from You - this gift is for a purpose, Your purpose.

     Dear God, may Your Kingdom come, that wherever you have placed us, we will have the boldness to share the good news of this Kingdom with people You put in our path. May Your will, and Your will alone, be done in our lives.

     Holy Spirit, on this our Jubilee Year, we receive a fresh anointing from You. Rekindle in us Your Fire, that our lives will shine ever so brightly for You.

     Amen.
