Ms. Teresita Fainsan, Grade 7 Level Coordinator

Posted Saturday, 16-Sep-2006 10:11 AM

On a bright Wednesday morning at 7:30 am the Grade 7 students gathered together in the Lecture Hall for an assembly where matters which will impact on their life as Grade 7 students of Xavier School were discussed.

Ms. Jane C. Cacacho, the High School Principal, discussed the High School Entrance Examination (HSEE) which will be held on October 7, 2006.  She also gave the students a preview of how life is in High School.  Michael Ignatius Tan, a High 1A student, was invited to share his experiences when he took the High School Entrance Examination (HSEE). He also gave some tips on how to prepare for the test.

Ms. Jane N. Natividad, the Grade School Principal, presented the Synthesis Quarter where the Flexible Curriculum is implemented and the Xavier China Experience programs (XCE) which run simultaneously.  Mr. Rey Francis Aude, Grade 7 CLE teacher and Fr. Guy Guibelondo, S.J. Campus Minister  gave first hand testimonies of their own China experience in the University of Xiamen.

The open forum that ensued after the talks was a motley of questions from the students who asked questions from the most mundane to the more important ones. The Students’ orientation ended with students looking forward to the HSEE, Synthesis Quarter and the Xavier China Experience (XCE).
