DOST Recognizes Xavier Mathematicians

    The Department of Science and Technology awarded several Xavier students for their outstanding achievement in various  international Mathematics competitions.   The Recognition Ceremony for the Young Mathematics Achievers was held last September 22, 2006.

Kenneth Tan Co (5E) and Adrian Tan Co ( 7C) won a gold medal each in the Second International Invitation Contest held in Singapore.  Marc Terence Co (7E) won a Bronze medal in the 10th Po Leung Kuk Prinary World contest held in Hongkong.  Aldrich Mayoralgo (5I) and Mario Ongkiko (4F) competed in the 2006 China Primary School Contest held in Qingdao, China.  They both won Bronze medals for placing third in the Calculation Skill contest and Problem Solving Skills Contest.
