XAVERIAN'S CORNER

Grade School Closing Ceremonies 06-07:

Word of Welcome

Reverend Father Johnny Go, School President, Reverend Father Ismael Zuloaga, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mrs. Jane Natividad, our Principal, our three assistant principals, Dr. Caesar Dimayuga, our guest speaker, Xavier Faculty and Staff, Parents, Guests, Fellow Graduates, Good Afternoon. Welcome to the 2007 Xavier Grade School Closing Ceremonies. We are here today to witness a momentous event, as we, the graduating students of Xavier Grade School batch 2007, end a chapter of our lives and begin a new one. Whether we consciously recognize it or not, the past nine years we’ve spent together in these classrooms and corridors have changed each of us greatly. In fact, our school and our teachers have molded us into the young men that we are today. We are graduating with the gift of perhaps the finest education one can receive. Furthermore, through our Xavier Education, we’ve learned things not only academically, but we’ve also learned to live out the values that Xavier School tries to instill in its students such as responsibility, generosity, diligence, being men of God and men for others, and of course, the 6 C’s.

Together with these things, we also value the memorable experiences that we’ve had throughout our Xavier School life. We will surely never forget our field trips to many different places, our class parties and our service interactions and recollections, and most especially our grade 7 activities such as the Ignite Recollection, the Xavier China Experience, the Synthesis Quarter, building and manning a booth in the fair, the batch lunch and the batch program. Truly, we’ll never forget these great events in our lives in Xavier.
