Donating an Education

     In the bill of rights there is a section that states that no child shall be deprived a proper education. Xavier School, standing by this principle, is trying to help those gifted with potential but not blessed with wealth. For the average Xaverian, Caritas cans and donation boxes are nothing new because since childhood, we have been encouraged to give to the less fortunate. Sadly, there is always a sense of obligation and detachment to giving, as most of us have not truly interacted with the less fortunate or have not truly felt what they feel. This time, however, our donations and contributions would be going to people whom we all know and interact with everyday: our fellow Xaverians.

     With the help of the Golden Choice program, much has been raised to support the Xavier School Educational Trust Fund (XSETF).  Through the funds that have been raised, more and more scholars are assured of the fiancial assistance that they need as they finish their education here in Xavier. Thus, every Xaverian is encouraged to support the XSETF.  Luceat Lux!
