To You Baby Austine
Mrs. Gene Sandico, Staff Developmet Office Personnel

Posted Saturday, 20-Jan-2007 9:36 AM

This poem was written by Ms. Gene to welcome her first grandchild Austine Claire Sandico who was born to her son Tom (HS Science) and Fats (TRC).

For years, we have dreamed about you.

Your Mommy and Daddy have longed for you.

Everyone in the family waited for you.

My daily prayers were always meant for you.

Then one cool January morning, you came into this world.

Happiness and joy you gave to both young and old.

In the nursery, as I looked at your small and frail body,

I felt the most wonderful feeling, I couldn’t believe I was now a granny!

Dear Lord, thank you for giving us Baby Austine Claire.

Thank you for giving her the chance to breathe the air.

Indeed thank you for listening to my prayers.

Baby Austine will really fill our lives with joy and cheers.

So to you Baby Austine, may you be blessed with so much love!

As you grow up, may you be guided by the angels above.

For sure you will be showered with love and care by your Mommy and Daddy.

When you grow, up always remember you made one person very happy, your Granny!
