The H3 Chemistry Interclass Quiz Contest was held at the Multi Purpose Hall last October 20, 2005 for the ABCD group and on October 21, 2005 for the EFGH group. The contest was not only to evaluate the third year students’ knowledge and skills in Chemistry, but it also helped them review for the 2nd Quarterly Test.

      Prior to the contest, each class was already divided into eight groups composed of 4 or 5 members. Moreover, discussion of the mechanics was also done during classes before the competition.

      Five questions for each of the categories, Easy, Average and Difficult, were asked. After the time allotted for answering each question, the quiz master randomly picks out a group number. A student from that group will raise a paper to show the answer of their group. A correct answer earns each section the corresponding points allotted for each questions.

      After two days of competition, the following sections emerged as winners. They were awarded their certificates last November 8, 2005 during the High School General Assembly held at the HS Gym.

For the ABCD group:

1st Place - H3A

2nd Place - H3C

3rd Place - H3D

For the EFGH group:

1st Place - H3F

2nd Place - H3G

3rd Place - H3H
