XAVERIAN'S CORNER

Senses on Farewell
Alex Ang (H3H), Stallion Literary Writer

Posted Monday, 16-Jan-2006 7:37 AM

I heed the echoes

Of days gone by,

Melancholic melodies

Rhythms of goodbye.

I sense the pang

Of my burdened heart,

By two mere souls,

Who sadly fell apart.

I witness the yore

Burned asunder,

Hope elapsed

By star-crossed lovers

I taste the latter

Of pungent goodbye’s,

I savor the ache

Of my saline cries

I gasp the loneliness

Of my destiny,

So frigid as I walk,

With mem’ries of thee.
