SUBJECT :   Death of Fr. Felixberto S. Trinidad, S.J.

      This is to inform the Ateneo de Manila University Community that Fr.
Felixberto S. Trinidad, S.J. died about 6:00 A.M. this morning, 06
January 2006, at The Medical City, Pasig City.  He had been suffering
respiratory difficulties, and a tumor was found at the apex of the
lungs.  Cause of death was cardiopulmonary failure.  Fr. Trinidad would
have been 80 in March.  He entered the Society of Jesus on 30 July 1950
and was ordained a priest on 11 June 1963. Requiescat in Pace.

      Fr. Trinidad has been at the Ateneo de Manila since 1984, mainly in
pastoral ministry at the Ateneo High School.  Previous to that he was at
Ateneo de San Pablo (1976-78) and Xavier School (1978-84).  In earlier
years he was assigned to Ateneo de Zamboanga (1965-68), Ateneo de Manila
(1968-70), Philippine General Hospital (1970-73) and La Ignaciana
Apostolic Center (1974-76).         

      Fr. Trinidad is best remembered as a counsellor and confessor
to many students at the Ateneo de Manila High School and other Jesuit
high schools.

      His remains are waked at the Oratory of St. Ignatius, Loyola House of Studies, Ateneo de Manila campus, Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
There will be daily Masses at 8:00 P.M.

      Interment has been scheduled for Monday, 09 January 2006, at
the Sacred Heart Novitiate Cemetery, Novaliches, Quezon City,
immediately after the 8:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at the Oratory of St.
Ignatius, Loyola House of Studies.
