For the six weeks of the
Flexible Curriculum, we have been introduced to something far different
from our daily lives. With our exposure to different
activities for the Third Quarter Flexible Curriculum, we have found something
enjoyable albeit, embarrassing.
The teachers have introduced us into the
wonderful art of Chamber Theatre.
To speak with the knowledge of a thousand
poets is better than the knowledge of but one scientist. The combined
cluster of Reading
and Language which is appropriately named
English Language and Creative Arts (ELCA) has introduced Chamber Theatre
which would be our central focus for the Third Quarter.
Guests from the ALITAPTAP Group of Storytellers
came over to teach
and show us what Chamber Theatre is. “There are differences between theatres,”
everyone murmured as we watched the eager-to-teach storytellers about
different stories and how we can eventually 'soup' it up.
Chamber Theatre, as we now know, is a most
beautiful art. Which is why I feel GREAT, studying such a fascinating
art!
