Sharing the Gift of the Xavier Education

     As a fitting celebration of Xavier School’s Golden Jubilee, Xavier School has announced that there will be NO TUITION FEE INCREASE for the coming School Year 2006-2007.  This is the fruit of the school’s commitment to do everything possible to improve the school's academic standards while exerting every effort to optimize resources.  But the gap between the limited resources and the drive for more scholars persists. 

     In the fifty years of its existence, Xavier School has upheld one unique policy, a policy that originated from Fr. Jean Desautels, the school’s founder:  “No boy who is otherwise qualified shall be deprived of a Xavier Education solely for financial reasons.”  This policy is rooted in our conviction that a Xavier education is a gift freely given by God, and like all gifts, it is meant to be shared with others.

     What better way to celebrate the Golden Jubilee than to share the gift of a Xavier Education with those who need it?   As our Golden Jubilee approaches, all parents are invited to share this gift with others. At enrollment, parents may want to consider donating to the Fr. Jean Desautels Golden Choice Scholarship Fund the amount of PhP3,500.00, which is the equivalent of a 5% tuition increase—or any amount for that matter is also most welcome. 

     With the parents’ help, the school hopes to build a new  culture of sharing and solidarity, in which every Xavier Family can be co-responsible—totally or partially, but wholeheartedly—for a scholar.
