last year and bestowed on him the honor of Bowler of the Year in the Juniors
Division for 2004. With his consistent brilliance in youth tournaments
for the past year, Edrell Dy (H2A) was indeed deserving of the recognition
he received last December 30, 2004 at the Pearl Bowling Center.

gained a lot of popularity several years ago, when the Philippines hosted
a leg in the Women's World Volleyball Grand Prix. Unfortunately, the popularity
was limited to the female players, from other countries no less.

The
recently concluded and successful Wish Bazaar last November 13-14, 2004

Last year, Coach Carlo Tan and Jean Alabanza
used the Metro Manila Basketball League (MMBL) Division 4 tournament as
a staging ground for the Tiong Lian Aspirants Tournament.
Offensive
Outburst
The Metro Manila Basketball Division 3
League (MMBL) opened November 7, at the impressive San Beda Gym. Xavier
played against familiar foe, OBMC-GH, which they have seen very recently
in the San Juan Inter-High School Basketball Tournament.

Sunday
Soccer Series Finale
It
has been my ritual for the past Sundays to wake up early in preparation
for a soccer game in the Filipino-Chinese Soccer League. It wasn't really
much of a big deal since we ruled over all other teams we played in the
past games. Lorenzo Mangubat (H2C)

Update
The school year is about to reach
halfway and along with it, the high school intramurals are soon
coming to a close. The games have been definitely competitive, as
most sections from the different batches seek to gain supremacy
and seek to become the champions of the various sports as well as
the over-all champions for their year level..

Marked
in Skating
Ice-skating is perhaps one of the
least talked about forms of leisure and enjoyment in the Philippines
. It is generally inaccessible to majority of the public and if
taken really seriously, is a very expensive sport. It is possibly
due to these reasons that only a few dare to try ice-skating, yet
alone excel in it. Thompson Tang (H2D), Stallion

and Gold Beats Blue and White
A
lot of things were riding on last Sunday's game between Ateneo and
Xavier. First, Ateneo was unbeaten. Second, this undefeated team
desired to remain unblemished at 6-0 going into their match-up against
co-leader Colegio de San Agustin on September 29.
