Athletics and Physical Education – Xavier(APEX) announces the 2006 Summer Sports Program. Get kids into sports this summer. It is a great opportunity for children to learn a new sport, improve their fitness levels, develop self-confidence and character, and other positive traits to help children become well-rounded individuals.

Keglers Dive into New Challenges

Keglers Defeat Ateneo Eagles
Last Saturday,
November 19, 2005, the Xavier Bowling Team defeated Ateneo, 52 to 22 to
take the 3rd Xavier-Loyola Cup held at the E-Lanes Bowling Center. The
Xavier keglers started firing on all cylinders from the get go and they
never relinquished the lead, giving them the right to keep the Xavier-Loyola

Last
June 24 and 29, the Xavier Bowling Varsity Team held its tryouts at the
E-lanes Bowling Center . A number of aspiring bowlers from the different
year levels participated in the tryouts.

Summer
vacation ended early for teachers as they were all required to report
back to work last April 25. However, coming back didn't mean the end of
summer fun as Mr. Josy Agoncillo, Mr. Dan Gonzales, and Mr. Patrick Posadas
of the PE Department organized a badminton doubles tournament for faculty
and staff.

Bowlers Impress the Alumni
Seizing
the opportunity of playing on weekday evenings, members of the Xavier
Bowling Team accepted the invitation of the AAXS Bowling Club of joining
the Alumni Bowling Monthly Tournaments. It was here where the team not
only proved to the alumni that they existed, but also that they were competitive.
