Go, School Director, has commissioned a committee composed of alumni,

Golden Time for Renewal
Message from the Chairman of the Board.
Next year is a very special time in Xavier School's history – our 50th
anniversary milestone since our founding in 1956! But next
year is made even more meaningful for all of us in the Xavier Community
because we also celebrate the 450th anniversary of the death of the founder
of the Society of Jesus, St. Ignatius of Loyola, and, more significantly,
the 500 th anniversary of the birth of St. Francis Xavier, our patron
saint. More
| The logo design takes off from the familiar
figure of St. Francis Xavier carrying his cross. This image visually
establishes the missionary role of Xavier School that has reached
its 50 th year milestone. The stylized figure is the unifying element
for the “XS 50” graphic which is made to appear from the image by
using a reverse negative (or positive) in the black and white version
and rendered in the school colors of blue (XS) and yellow gold (50)
for the colored version. The diagonal and upward sweep of the graphic
evokes the dynamism of the school and its strong commitment in pursuing
its mission well into the future. Logo designed by Joseph Gotinga
('94). |
