Career
is a big word. It brings with it several bigger words such as pathways,
life choices, vocations and purposes. It is a big word indeed for thirteen
year-old students to ponder on at this moment in their lives. It is too
early for them to start thinking of their career, one might say.

Grade
School Launches Xavier Award
It
is the time of the year when we take time to think about the mission and
vision of Xavier School . As we rake our time out, we think of the students
who excel in academics, leadership, and service. These are the criteria
in the search for the Xavier awardee. The Xavier Award is the highest
distinction of honor that Xavier School gives a Xaverian who is a role
model, living up to the school's ideals. By
Kris Carla Lawenko, G6 Counselor
What
is the Xavier Award?
Xavier School
looks up to students who live up to its ideals. Like any school, it hopes
to produce only the best, the ones who are able to faithfully live up
to its mission, vision and goals. Once a year, grades 5 to 7 students
and the entire Grade School faculty and staff take part in the selection
and nomination process for those students who continually let their light
shine – the Xavier Awardees. They are the recipients of the very prestigious
Xavier Award. By Mark Go, H4B
