For all academic levels, each applicant is carefully screened to make sure that the schools has the resources and curriculum to serve the student. It is in the best interest of both the student and the school that there is a reasonable match between the student's abilities and the school's system. Parents should be alerted to the fact that Xavier has limited resources to serve students with more serious needs.

Xavier School may not be able to accommodate students who:

• Require extensive support by the school for special needs
  outside the current scope of available resources,
• Demonstrate deficiency in the English and Chinese
  languages for academic purposes,
• Have previous class records and standardized test results
  that indicate below-average achievement, or
• Bring a poor disciplinary record from their previous school
