In line with the celebration of Xavier School's Golden Jubilee come 2006, the Jubilee Steering Committee (JSC), in cooperation with the Alumni Association of Xavier School (AAXS) is planning to print a batch directory for each of its 46 batches from 1960 to 2006.

The JSC has appointed Silvino “Jun” Suntay ('72) as chairman of the directory committee with members Glenn Khonghun ('93) and Martin Gomez ('99).   A vigorous campaign has been launched and the organizers request the support of each and every alumnus to complete and submit his data form to his respective batch representative or directly via online registration linked to a secure database that is now accessible at www.xs.edu.ph .

Another important contribution is for alumni to help the committee locate “reclusive” or hard to find batchmates, particularly those residing overseas.   The updated database will be the most comprehensive directory yet compiled, including not just those who graduated but every student who has ever studied in Xavier, even if just for a day. This ambitious project has an aggressive target completion date of November 2005 so the full cooperation of all alumni is needed to make this a success!   

Once completed, this database – to be treated with utmost confidentiality – will enable the JSC to plan, execute and communicate more effectively the Jubilee activities to be calendared in 2006-2007.   Moreover, a complete and updated database will allow the AAXS and the school's Alumni Relations Office to reach more Xaverians with the end objective of fostering a stronger and more integrated association that can be more proactive to the needs of its members.
